Offer to Windows NT usersBack to About SeriousB WindowsThe latest version of SeriousB works on Windows XP. Since XP is basically Windows NT underneath the hood, this version is likely to work on NT. However, we can't guarantee it until a few downloaders try it out. If you will download and install SeriousB, and it works on your Windows NT system, we will register it for free. It will not affect your system in any case, as SeriousB does not use the registry and does not install or update any system files. Here are two procedures, one to verify that it will work on your system, and one to remove it if the installation doesn't complete: Making sure it works1. Download, install, and run the SeriousB normally, acceptingall defaults. 2. Select "Enter an Address" in the Address menu. Enter one address (you only need to enter an account number, you can leave all the other fields blank or just accept defaults). 3. After you cursor through all fields, select the "Save" button to save the address. 4. Still in the Address window, select the "Find" button. Leave both search boxes blank, then click OK. 5. Click the "Next" button until the Address record you entered comes up. It works! Let us know to receive your free registration. In case the "Uninstall SeriousB" icon doesn't workTo uninstall SeriousB, delete the following three folders. They may ormay not exist depending on how much of the installation completed: 1. Delete the "SBW30" folder on the root of drive C. 2. Delete the "SERIOUSB.TMP" folder on the root of drive C. 3. Delete the "MSALE" folder on the root of drive C. Please let us know that it didn't work, and thanks for the beta-testing! |
